POSITION is not in IONIA. This is the midpoint between two offices. This person will travel between our Grand Rapids, MI and Holt MI office. We are looking for a recruiter to join our team. As a recruiter, you will help staff companies by seeking out potential employees, screen them, put them through the interview process and make recommendations to the company they work for. Recruiters might work through job sites, college campuses or job fairs. Recruiters will schedule and run interviews, as well as administer testing during the interview process. Recruiters will also maintain the relationship with their associates to ensure they are satisfied with their employment and with MCM.

Recruiters are the first people to talk to potential new applicants, so it's important that they know a lot about the company’s customers. Recruiters are knowledgeable and enthusiastic about their work.

JOB SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS

Language Skills: Spanish bilingual language skills preferred but not required.

Experience: 2+ years experience working in a fast paced office environment and multi-tasking. 2+ years experience recruiting in a high paced environment preferred. Experience recruiting for the medical industry preferred.

Communication Skills: You will need great speaking skills when talking to potential hires, superb listening skills when listening to their answers, and listening to what the company wants in their new hires. You will need the skills to connect with people in a friendly way to get the job done.

Attention to Detail: Recruiters must be thorough when reviewing applications, references and resumes. Recruiters will be working with multiple customers, and must have the capability of understanding and differentiating the different requirements and processes for each customer.

Decision-Making Skills: Recruiters must fill job vacancies, and you will have to make a decision on who you recommend for the job.

Ability to multi-task: Recruiters will be working on several requisitions at once, and must be able to juggle managing candidates, conducting phone and in person interviews, as well as current associates on assignment.

Driven: Recruiters are held to activity based and gross profit metrics. Having the drive to increase activity and placements is a must!
