Job Description
The Stepping Stones Group is an organization that partners with school districts across the country to help staff for their Special Education department. We specialize in working with Speech Language Pathologists, Occupational Therapists, Physical Therapists, Special Education Teachers, School Psychologists, School Nurses, Behavioral Specialists, etc.

Support recruiting and sales team efforts to source, screen, and hire Speech Language Pathologists, Occupational and Physical Therapists, School Psychologists, BCBAs, and Special Education Teachers interested in working within school based settings that are passionate about making a difference in the lives of children
Assist and answer therapist questions regarding payroll, hours, overtime, and general questions
Deliver top-notch outstanding customer service to therapists on assignment and proactively engage with prospect therapists to build a pipeline
Master sourcing strategies including (social media, job boards, database mining, etc.)

TASKS
- Interpret and explain human resources policies, procedures, laws, standards, or regulations.
- Hire employees and process hiring-related paperwork.
- Maintain current knowledge of Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) and affirmative action guidelines and laws, such as the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).
- Prepare or maintain employment records related to events, such as hiring, termination, leaves, transfers, or promotions, using human resources management system software.

KNOWLEDGE
- Administration and Management — Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, human resources modeling, leadership technique, production methods, and coordination of people and resources.
- Clerical — Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems such as word processing, managing files and records, stenography and transcription, designing forms, and other office procedures and terminology.
- Customer and Personal Service — Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
- Personnel and Human Resources — Knowledge of principles and procedures for personnel recruitment, selection, training, compensation and benefits, labor relations and negotiation, and personnel information systems.
