Job Description

TriMark USA is one of the nation's largest providers of design and build services, equipment and supplies to the foodservice industry. We partner with our customers, which include national chains, independent restaurants, healthcare facilities, K-12 and universities, entertainment venues, and many other segments, providing tailored solutions and essential products to operate with greater efficiency and realize better bottom line results. Our aim every day is to serve with excellence, meeting the needs of foodservice professionals so they can achieve their culinary vision.Reporting to the Chief HR Officer and the Regional EVP, the Regional HR Director is a key member of the regional leadership team, responsible for the operation and management of the Human Resources function.He/she will have broad responsibility, working closely with the leadership team to develop and implement human resource strategies, processes and practices to enable and support the achievement of the company’s business goals.The Regional EVP will look to the Regional HR Director as a key business advisor, comprehensive communicator, and executive team facilitator who takes responsibility to ensure the leadership team is aligned, engaged and leading effectively.The CHRO will count on the Regional HR Director as a key member of the HRLT both in effectively leading all regional HR activities as well as helping to guide the overall company HR strategy.This role will also be responsible for the implementation of enterprise initiatives.The Regional HR Director will manage all aspects of the Human Resources function for the Region, including talent acquisition, talent management, employee/union relations, compensation, benefits, recruitment, HRIS, organizational development and employee/leadership development encompassing a workforce of approximately 900 employees, across 5 divisions. Most critically, the Regional HR Director will be expected to have the strategic and analytical insight to translate the company’s strategy into HR processes, programs and initiatives that drive the achievement of its business goals. Duties & Responsibilities:· Provide strategy on people related opportunities that advance operational and financial performance. · Establish simple talent management strategies and processes to achieve organizational talent objectives (e.g. succession planning, key talent development, workforce planning, etc.).· Attract and retain talent needed, building capabilities and address shortcomings.Proactively partner with the senior leadership team to improve the approach and execution of talent acquisition.· Ensure a comprehensive HR integration plan for successful and seamless transitions of business acquisitions. · Lead regional HR team.· Partner with regional senior leadership team for all HR related activities· Identify and lead the strategies that maximize employee engagement.· Collaborate with the other Regional HR Directors to ensure consistency across the organization. · Provide employee/leadership development strategies and programs.· Ensure TriMark’s employee health, retirement, wellness and other benefit programs are fully integrated at a regional level.· Provide robust and energizing employee communication at all levels of the organization· Ensure compensation strategies align with desired business objectives.· Work to continuously improve the operations and metrics driving the success of the human resources function.THE QUALIFICATIONS:· Minimum 8-10 years of relevant HR leadership experience with significant depth across the various functional disciplines of Human Resources.5 – 10 years of experience managing a team. · Experience operating in multiple site/regional model. · Must have a track record of success in job performance.· Experience working in a matrixed HR operating model, services or retail industry a plus.· Demonstrated ability in partnering well with senior level executives to achieve business objectives.· Detailed experience implementing state of the art people practices, policies, programs and processes that create value.· Demonstrated ability to assess, acquire, retain and develop HR talent needed to support an evolving business.· Based in Irvine, CA· Travel estimated to be 15-25%.THE person:The successful candidate must bring a high level of ethical, intellectual, professional and personal values. Education· Bachelor’s degree in business, Human Resources or other disciplines; advance degree preferred but not required.SHRM certification a plus.

  • Serve as a link between management and employees by handling questions, interpreting and administering contracts and helping resolve work-related problems.
