What does a Regional Medical Director do?

As regional medical directors, we are responsible for framing and implementing health care policies. Our job role requires us to create a set of health standards and closely evaluate new treatments’ pros and cons. We are also responsible for carrying our research to check whether a particular drug is safe to use. Along with all these roles, as regional medical directors, we also develop strategic clinical relations with the region’s general and specialized physicians. We are also in charge of creating marketing strategies for the health care departments.
