As Registered Dental Hygienists, we are responsible for providing oral cancer screening and radiographic studies, completing dental prophylaxis, and performing other dental hygiene producers in compliance with the Dental Practice Act. We prepare the treatment room for incoming patients following the prescribed procedures and protocols while maintaining adequate instrumentation for dental hygiene treatment by sterilizing and sharpening the equipment. We prepare, calm, and reassure patients before they undergo any procedure by warmly welcoming them, seat them appropriately, and explain to them the procedure.
