About Registered Nurse NICU

What does a Registered Nurse NICU do?

As Registered Nurses NICU, we take care of at-risk newborns. We provide the newborns with constant comfort. We monitor the babies closely for the subtlest changes in behavior. At-risk newborns are provided with high-quality medical treatment. We conduct intravenous transfusions for the babies. We work with doctors to establish a good treatment plan for the infants. Registered Nurse NICU also handles changing the baby’s diapers. We coordinate the infant’s treatments as well. We assist the physicians in carrying out medical procedures. It is within our duties to evaluate the effectiveness of the treatments being implemented.

  • offering support to the infant’s guardians
  • adjusting specialized medical equipment
  • formulation of nursing plans
  • administering medications to the newborns
  • ensuring that the infants are being fed properly
