Registered Nurse - Oncology Phone Triage - St. Luke's Cancer Institute
The Registered Nurse is responsible for triaging and assessing patient needs over the phone and in person, working closely with Oncologists and Advanced Practice providers to coordinate care and support complex oncology patients. The Triage Nurse plans, implements, and documents nursing care based on patient's needs and has opportunity to assist with procedures. This is an exciting, team oriented, often fast-paced environment where is it important to have excellent communication and listening skills. The St. Luke's Cancer Institute clinics are dynamic full-service outpatient hematology/oncology treatment center offering chemo/bio/and radiation therapies. The St. Luke's Cancer Institute RN is the keystone to the complex, high-quality, compassionate care the communities of southern Idaho and eastern Oregon have come to expect of our organization.
Required Criteria
* Current RN licensure
* Degree in Nursing
* CPR
Preferred Criteria
* BSN degree strongly encouraged
* At least 1 year of Oncology RN experience
