About Registrar

What does a Registrar do?

Working as Registrars, we maintain the academic records of students. We oversee the admission as well as the graduation process of the students. Our work also includes updating information. We also train other staff members to use a kind of software related to student records. Coordinating the grading process, we are also responsible for printing report cards. We prepare identification cards as well as bus cards for the students. As Registrars, we are also responsible for planning the academic calendar. We answer questions about admissions as well as financial aids. As Registrars, we assess the needs of each student. We help with the paperwork that they need.

Core tasks:

  • assisting students in filling up the admission form
  • recording grades, attendance, and other information of students in the software
  • maintaining up-to-date course schedules, catalogs, and final examination schedules
  • responding to students queries about admission, curriculum, and financial aids
  • training new staff for handling the software for students records management
