Remington Arms, founded in 1816 and headquartered in Madison, NC, United States, was an American based company manufacturing firearms and rifles. According to the ATF Statistics 2015, Remington Arms was the largest arms manufacturer in North America. Till 2015, it was part of the Freedom Group and was later renamed to Remington Outdoor Company. Remington owns several production sites including Ilion, New York, and Mayfield, Kentucky. Currently, all the ammunition is made at Lonoke, Arkansas. It manufactures Bolt-action rifle including JuniorTarget 521TL, M1903 Springfield rifle, Pump-action rifle including Remington Model six, Remington Sportsman 76, Semi-automatic rifle including Remington Model 550-1, Model R-15, Shotguns, Handguns, Revolver, and more. Remington arms provide health, dental, and vision insurance, life insurance, long-term disability insurance, and death benefits to its employees.
