About Research Assistant

What does a Research Assistant do?

As Research Assistants, we assist the head researcher by preparing, inputting, and analyzing all sorts of data. We also supervise and teach new assistants involved in the research project to prepare them for their future path. We liaise between the new assistants and the leading researcher while maintaining records on assignment completion. We also coordinate via email or phone calls with other specialists engaged in the same research theme. We are responsible for editing and proofreading grant proposals and annual grant reports and recommending modifications to the Principal Researcher's publication.

Core tasks:

  • suggest and tests modifications to pre-existing protocols based on the results
  • translate the data acquired into figures and diagrams for presentation and publications
  • carry out multiple experiments simultaneously with little supervision
