As Research Librarians, we are responsible for analyzing information requests to see which materials can better suit the researcher's needs. We classify research materials relevant to their area of subject specialization. We participate in professional development events. Providing instructions on electronic research tools and search techniques is also a part of our duty. We assist with the maintenance of the department's online catalog. Working as Research Librarians, we are responsible for weeding out old materials from collecting and updating links to online resources. We react to the information collection and reference requests in a timely and effective manner. Finally, we participate in the development of new resources and training as needed.
