What does a Research Programmer do?

As Research Programmers, we are responsible for all programming activities on various projects. We also direct and monitor the work of assigned staff. We carry out research methods for the collection and analysis of quantitative data. We use research methods such as programming, digital modeling, and simulation to assess the data. We are responsible for identifying and selecting project opportunities. We also maintain coverage and fulfill project commitments. We also check and manipulate database records while researching a particular subject. We carry out constant research while working and find important data helpful for the client or organization. We also document and maintain the management of the source code. We also provide expertise and assistance in data download and management.
