About Research Staff Member

What does a Research Staff Member do?

As Research Staff Members, we participate in the lifecycle of a research project. Along with our colleagues, we are responsible to carry out tasks instructed by research managers and supervisors. We assist and participate in the designing, gathering, and observing information gathered from laboratory-based trials and experiments. We plan and conduct experiments, store and analyze data, and finally prepare reports and results.

Core tasks:

  • perform fieldwork including samples collection
  • present results to senior research staff
  • coordinate with other team members to carry out tasks
  • preparing reports, research papers, reviews, and results
  • demonstrate procedures and prepare research proposals and project summaries
