What does a Residence Counselor do?

As Residence Counselors, our primary tasks involve supporting individuals in residential facilities by providing guidance and assistance in daily living activities. We ensure a safe and nurturing environment while helping residents develop skills for independent living. Communication with residents' families and other support networks is another critical aspect of our work. We also aid in the development and implementation of individualized care plans. Regular monitoring and documentation of residents' progress and needs are fundamental duties of our role.
