About Resident Care Specialist

What does a Resident Care Specialist do?

We, as resident care specialists are responsible for providing orientation to the new residents related to the programs as well as the services and the codes of conduct implemented in the resident facilities. Our duties include counseling and assisting the new residents during their period of readjustment, anxiety, and possible regression. We identify and facilitate new residents with behavior issues and other potential problems. We are responsible for scheduling resident healthcare appointments, transportation reports, and other related tasks as needed

  • helping residents with their daily living activities
  • ensuring the cleanliness of residents’ apartments
  • monitoring and reporting any transformations in residents’ condition
