About Resident

What does a Resident do?

As Residents, we are tasked with clinical evaluations and taking care of patients. We equally prepare, write reports as well as the progress notes in patient's charts. We perform numerous procedures under the guidance and supervision of the attending physician. Under the instructions of the attending supervisors, we are charged with assessing the patient’s physical, medical and psychological status. We teach and provide guiding and counseling services to our patients on their health status, the disease progress and plan for discharge schedules. We are also responsible for maintaining duty rosters and allocate both night and day shifts for the staff.
