About Residential Supervisor

What does a Residential Supervisor do?

As Residential Supervisors, we provide direct support services to the individuals who reside at the house. We are responsible for the day to day operations of the assigned residential home. We provide supervision and guidance to the Direct Care Staff. We promote the well-being and ensure the safety of participants and the protection of their individual rights. We oversee the operation of the assigned residential facility. We ensure staff provides and produces the required services for clients. We maintain proper records, reports, and other documentation as required by regulation. We participate in daily operations as required.

Core tasks:

  • supervise the day-to-day activities and appointments for all individuals
  • maintain the schedules and daily activities for Direct Care Staff
  • oversee the daily operation of the program
  • ensure the delivery of onboarding, orientation, and ongoing training
  • provide feedback in hiring, performance evaluations, and termination decisions
  • implement individual satisfaction enhancement plans
  • monitor the comfort and safety of individuals served
