We're looking for a forward-thinking, hands-on individual to join the Revenue Operations team as a Revenue Analyst. In this position you will be required to assist with all global revenue operations processes including booking entries and reconciliations. A successful candidate must have the ability to operate effectively in a fast moving environment as well as have experience and a strong interest in both technical and operational quote to cash processes and accounting. RESPONSIBILITIES Assist with all global revenue recognition processes including systems, billing, recording revenue and quote to cash related account reconciliations.
Maintain and record non-standard revenue adjustments on a monthly basis.
Prepare assigned revenue related General Ledger reconciliations including Deferred Revenue and Accounts Receivable.
Liaison with and assist the International Controllership team(s) with revenue related reporting, analysis and inquires. Support their needs for local statutory audits as requested.
Maintain partner billing and revenue transactions on a monthly basis.
Reconcile monthly cash collected across various bank accounts and book cash receipts entries.
Conduct AR reconciliations and assist with preparations of AR aging files in Netsuite.
Work closely with the Revenue Manager on additional projects and tasks related to Revenue Operations and Finance as they arise.
QUALIFICATIONS BA/BS from a top college or university (Business Administration, Finance, Accounting –required)
2+ years of working experience in a similar role – required.
Certified Public Accounting (CPA) – highly preferred or an interest in pursuing a CPA
Experience in Salesforce, Zuora, Netsuite, Blackline a plus.
Passion for cloud technologies.
Ability to adhere to the highest ethical standards and unwavering integrity.
High-functioning, working knowledge of relevant revenue GAAP.
Solid revenue accounting, reconciliation and accounting process knowledge including comfort with multi-entity and multi-currency environments.
Strong system and data flow knowledge. Ability to learn and adapt to new flows and software technologies.
Strong analytical, research, problem solving and evaluative thinking skills.
Acute attention to detail and well developed organization and time management skills.
Well-developed sense of urgency and follow through.
Strong communication skills - including ability to listen to the needs of others and comprehend complex matters, articulate issues in a clear and concise manner, and present effectively in both oral and written presentations to all levels in the organization.
Self-motivated, flexible, deadline-oriented and able to complete tasks with minimal supervision.
Exceptional multitasking abilities, upbeat demeanor, and ability to stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
Strong work ethic, including the ability to work independently, but also knows how to have fun while doing it!
