What does a Revenue Auditor do?

As Revenue Auditors, we conduct daily revenue audits, cash summaries, journals for entry, and any other related revenue report needed for the company, verifying and recording revenue for products/services, credit card billing, and credit card deposits, responding to customers billing inquiries and disputes. We prepare reports that help ensure that the firm runs efficiently and makes a profit and examine income within a company for accuracy. We access the company's function and efficiency using graphs, charts, and other analytical tools, verify and record revenue for products/services, and prepare reports that help ensure that the firm runs efficiently and makes a profit. We maintain all records used by other departments, safeguard an organization against monetary theft, and reconcile the balance sheet with receipts to ensure transactions are accounted for and prepare income statements for presentation to management.
