About Revenue Cycle Specialist

What does a Revenue Cycle Specialist do?

As Revenue Cycle Specialists, we are responsible for developing and maintaining a system that ensures the accuracy of our billing information. We also supervise the Revenue Cycle Department in multiple duties such as communication with our customers’ insurance providers, account managers, collections agencies, and cash posters. We prepare and record financial transactions for each account to accumulate and record its exact financial history while supervising the daily deposit reconciliations by maintaining daily, monthly reporting for audit purposes.

Core tasks:

  • coordinate with other managers to create and implement new revenue cycle plans
  • identify new opportunities to improve the revenue cycle processes
  • resolve clients’ audit issues by closely working with other departments
