While working at Rite-Aid I was posted at the front. I greeted customers entering and exiting the store. I helped customers to find products throughout the store by being visible. Checked shelves for shrinkage. Performed bag checks on employees

Worked for that company for almost 30 years Met so many great managers and pharmacists Trained at so many stores and taught classes

Rite Aid gave me the opportunity to practice pharmacy in underserved areas. It also allowed me to practice at the top of my license because I was able to offer immunizations and MTM services.

I loved this job too bad due to Corporation screw ups they closed this location, i loved my crew, manager, cashiers and the pharmacy staff.

Had a good career but when the company came into financial problems everything became stressful n very little support

I liked the customers, Boss, and employees.. I worked alot and it was very physical. The pay was horrible. Two years of working there I got a 25 cent raise. I started at 9.00 an hour, after my second year I made 9.25 hour.

I worked for this company almost 6 years. Love my position, absolutely enjoyed working with my coworkers helping customers and helping with patients from next-door.

I started at the company as a clerk in the pharmacy and front end customer service. I loved the environment and our customers that would come in. I worked at Rite Aid for 18 years. At the beginning of this year had to resign to take care of my ailing father. It was one of the hardest decisions I had to make. It was a really great company to work for.

I addressed in my interview my availability and they hired me with the attention of not working with my given availability.

Working here as my very first job was fun and exciting, I enjoyed meeting new people and the management was perfect they were cool and listened, the customers were pretty cool as well no problems while I was employed

It was a great opportunity for me to show all my previous customer service. I learned alot of managerial techniques to use any future endeavors.

nice and friendly atmosphere I open or close the store. Handle the money, invoices, freight, vendors, customers, and jobs needed done and assign jobs. I enjoyed working with the employees and the managers.

I had an excellent interview and was hired on the spot. The training was good and is ongoing. I work with an excellent store manager, wonderful shift supervisors, and great fellow employees. The pay is much lower than other retail I have worked but the lack of pressure and stress makes up for it. One knows what they are going to make per hour going in so the choice is theirs to make. I don't need the benefits so I can't speak to that issue. I have a rule I work by; my home life stops at the door of Rite Aid and my Rite Aid life stops on the way out the door. I truly like my job. It works for me.

Under staffed and always asked to do more. Every year never got a raise. One excuse after another. High volume store with no help.

Joined this company for extra money. Lots of changes of pharmacists, most of who, hated their jobs. Company focuses more on bottom line, money and getting Wellness cards, not the patients or the customers

I worked for Rite aid for 3.5 years. It was good for the first 2.5 years with great managers and staff. I learned a lot from them and was given time off for my medical condition or for personal reasons. They cared about my well being and didnt give me a lot of hours due to my condition. But when the pandemic started last march 2020 it became very stressful. People took LOA's and vacations due to the virus and when new people were hired they did not last long. Got new manager in august 2020 and he was very strict and did not care about my condition. The environment was horrible and the store was very understaffed and when I asked for less days I was not given it. I was going to take a LOA to address my condition but I was forced to quit after my condition got worse and an argument with the manager while in the ER. Rite Aid is a good place but very understaffed at most stores.. retail is not for everybody so apply at your own discretion..

There was a LOT of physical labor, when restock day comes you spend the entire day lifting really heavy boxes and restocking shelves which is more tiring than it sounds. Restock day was Saturday so it was mandatory to work every single Saturday from morning to night which was so bad. I worked 10 hours and got one 15 minute break and one 30 minute break which is absolutely ridiculous. The boss was so annoying and offered no advice for improvement.

I loved working there but I wanted to expand my career to Hospital and by working there and getting my pharmacy tech license I was able to move on to the hospital.

I only worked there for several months, but I enjoyed the work environment and the versatility of the job. With the drive through window, there was always work to be done and I was never bored. I enjoy working with the general public. It was a very rewarding job.

Not a good place to work. They are always trying to cut your staffing hours, while trying to get you to work faster.

I like working there good people work there and same customers all the time. They know your name and you know their name too.

Pharmacy employee great place to get your start but the pay and benefits ate not competitive! You will can Skills and a great family! I love all those i work with including those in the front of store! It is stressful at times but worth it! If you can't multi task or are not good with people and have a lot of patience this is not a job for you!

I loved my job when i started! after my first year all the techs and pharmacist started to leave and it was like a revolving door couldnt keep any one or hire anyone who wanted to do the job or could! That being said in the last 6 months we are finally fully staffed with a great Pharm Manager! Pay rate is not as competitive but they started hiring in at what it took me 3 years to make so that is great for all who are looking for a better paying job but does not leave room for it to increase! Newer employees are now making more than i am and in order to keep or bring on new they will probably do this again it has been a pattern so ask at Hiring.I love the job but no incentive for experenced/loyal employees to stay! I will move on no matter how much i love my job to get paid more than those with less experience! This jobs is too stressful (although I Love it)to have to worry about paying bills and being able to provide for family!

I loved my boss, and I loved the people i woked with including the people in the pharmacy. I even loved the fact that I worked inventory.

Manager is great, the team is professional. Your hard work is appreciated. And they help you to find hours.

This was a job that i had in high school. At the time i worked, it was minimum wage ($7.25/hr). I had no health benefits, no room for advancement. It's not worth working here honestly.

Great company to work for..flexible hours great techs and associates..would work there again..Drive thru area too tight caused cars to side swipe building..Hopefully. this is no longer happening..At times, cx's in a rush but you would expect that to happen at any pharmacy..Just be a little more cautious not to make errors..
