The 80 -bed advanced technology facility is both a Joint Commission Chest Pain Certified Hospital and a Joint Commission Certified Primary Stroke Center. Summary of the Position:

• The Data Quality Coordinator assists the Director of Clinical Informatics (DCI) or designee with facility implementation of projects under the scope of informatics.
• Duties include, but are not limited to: Assist DCI with training of new providers (PK Notewriter, Pdoc, ePrescribe, CPOE) and ongoing nursing/provider education.
• Collaborate with DCI when implementing new advanced clinical functionality.
• Assist with monitoring metrics and education as required. Manage unsigned orders in MEDITECH concurrently and post discharge.
• Manage unsigned PDoc notes concurrently. Manage incorrectly signed and rejected orders in MEDITECH concurrently and post discharge. Collaborate with physicians to correct erroneous PDoc entries or supervising physician assignment in MEDITECH.
• Acts as liaison to clinicians, physician level providers, and clinical staff to collaborate for resolutions at the source of data quality issues.
• Establish data integrity auditing process.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

Education: Graduation from a school of nursing required.

Experience: A minimum of 2 years clinical nursing experience. Meditech and Microsoft Excel experience strongly preferred.

Licensure/Certifications: Current Missouri RN license required. BLS Certification

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:

• Demonstrated ability to establish and build strong relationships across a broad range of personality types.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with clinical and information technology personnel verbally and in writing.
• Demonstrated advanced computer skills (ie: Microsoft Office, including spreadsheets and data analysis experience.)
• An understanding, enthusiasm and commitment to the goals of the project.
• Leadership skills to direct others and maintain a common vision for project objectives.
• Must be a motivator.
• The ability to communicate with staff at all levels of the practice, as well as with vendors and other outside agents. Must have an interdisciplinary focus.
• Effective organizational skills
• Problem solving and analytical skills.
