About Route Driver

What does a Route Driver do?

As Route Drivers, we transport multiple supplies and materials, including waste and hazardous materials coming from hospitals and laboratories while following the company’s standards and protocols when disposing of them. We also ensure total adherence to local and federal laws when disposing of those materials by taking them to the correct dumping spot and ensure that they are burned. We coordinate with other workers to load and unload the delivery vehicle by hand or through the use of the company’s forklifts.

Core tasks:

  • perform regular repair and maintenance
  • ensure that the cargo is safely placed and stabilized
