About Route Sales Representative

What does a Route Sales Representative do?

As route sales representatives, we sell the products to customers on specific routes. We also provide the services to the clients on designated routers. We create the sales strategies for meeting the target. We are responsible for following up on the sales leads. We build a positive relationship with clients for long-term business retaining. We are responsible for the promotion of new products and services. We help grow sales in specific areas. Some of us also provide sales updates to the manager. We often cold call the clients and create the product demonstration. We communicate with regular customers to sell new products.

Core tasks:

  • assessing the clients’ behavior to design strategies
  • taking the orders and negotiating contracts
  • keeping the sales records of every client
