This job is welcoming passengers and checking them out for their cruises. You can learn a lot about the cruise ships what goes on on board as well as the kind of people that travel on cruises and what to expect when you take a cruise. This was a great part-time job and was lots of fun, but I would not recommend it full-time as the pay was very poor.
Pros and Cons
Half-price cruises
Pay very poor

At least 77 hours per week working, management it’s left in the hands of unprofessional people most of them from India . They have 0 management experience and knowledge they want absolute submission. Company it’s not interested as long nothing happened. Unfortunately they have serious security problems inevitably something bad will happen .

I first went to work for RCCL as a shore excursion manager, handling all the tours ashore.
I increase revenue on every ship that I was on exponentially by changing the desk hours, adding & training staff, your talks that ran 24/7 on ship’s TV, and being available to the Guests whenever possible.
On land I worked as a Business Development Manager (District Sales Manager) servicing the Travel Agent Community in West Los Angeles. I also increased the revenue share and won Rookie of the Year.
Pros and Cons
Excellent benefits, savings on cruises, see the world
