My past workplace was an exceptionally challenging & distressing experience that profoundly impacted me. Despite my best efforts to leave, extenuating circumstances made it impossible, and my manager was fully aware of my predicament. However, instead of providing support, they subjected me to continuous mental abuse, often reminding me how lucky I was to have a job. The level of mistreatment was so severe that recounting my experience to others often elicits shock and dismay. Nevertheless, I had the opportunity to meet some incredible colleagues who made the experience more bearable. More importantly, I learned a valuable lesson on the importance of treating employees with dignity & respect. Although my time at that workplace has come to an end, the impact it has had on me lingers. Despite my eventual departure, the damage had been done. I am grateful for the chance to learn from this experience, but I hope that no one else has to endure such mistreatment in their place of work.

Pros and Cons
My co-wokers were the only pro, and then only some of them
The pay, the hours, the benefits, the managers, etc.

I was happy to be able to learn and work with the Xerox IGen color printers. I was helped very much by the many wonderful staff workers at RR Donnelley.

Pros and Cons
The coworkers were for the most part very helpful. My direct supervisor was the best.
There were never any talks about making more money after advancement

I worked for the company for a number of years. Initially, the company was growing and my boss amazing to work for. People were jealous of the laughter that happened during our meetings. As the company grew, the management position was outsourced to another state. The print industry is currently contracting, and RRD is no longer a growing, dynamic company to work for. At this point, I would recommend looking else where for a position.

Pros and Cons
Co-workers that you develop lifelong friendships with
There is no work life balance

I worked at RRD for sixteen years. It is, by far, the worse company I've ever worked for. The main issue there is management. Management play favorites and are unfair to everyone else. They react to situations with anger and lash out at their employees on issues that they should have fixed years ago. The corporate office has a hotline, but they really don't care, and they allow retaliation from those reported, while corporate silently brushes the complaints aside. It's a no win situation with that group of mafia idiots running the show. Save yourself and look elsewhere for employment. That plant is not worth the heartache.

Pros and Cons
None other than dealing with idiots posing as managers every day.
Too many to list.

This is, by far, the most life sucking, depressing place that I've ever worked. So called "Management" are nothing but unproffessional, underhanded bullies that threaten soneone's job each and every day. They have no clue what the terms mutual respect or human dignity mean, and mentally abuse their workers. The plant manager is a pea brain narcissist idiot who was a bomb stacker in the military. The maintenance manager is cut from the same numbskull mode.

Pros and Cons
Can't think of any.
No respect for workers. Everyone is treated as a desperate criminal who has no other options.

RRD started off great but slowly started declining after a few years. I've worked here for over 5 years and still didn't get a raise while others doing less than me progressed through the company.

Pros and Cons
Nothing at all
Everything
