About Rural Carrier Associate

What does a Rural Carrier Associate do?

As Rural Carrier Associates, we manage problems, conduct RCA investigations, and deliver completed documentation while arranging mail in delivery sequence in rural areas, operate the llv, to collect cod and lift packages over 50 pounds. We obtain sign receipts for the register, certify, and insure mail, collect associate charges, and complete any necessary paperwork and inform customers on relevant postal information and educate them on the company’s policies and procedures. We deliver mail to rural residence and business establishments along specified routes by driving or walking and using carts, cars, and small trucks depending on the package size.

  • map appropriate routes using GPS and standard maps
  • provide professional and friendly contact with customers
