As such, SegPay is a provider of e-commerce payment solutions for merchants of online content, products, services and subscriptions sold over the Internet. The Company is an industry leader and innovator in web-based transactions, servicing clients operating in the United States and in Europe. The Company is currently poised for significant growth in its niche as well as expanding into new market segments. The Challenge We are currently searching for a Sales Representative that will focus on sales opportunities in new markets. Prospects can reside in the US or Europe. This person will focus on creating new merchant contacts that have a need for online payment processing and selling them the SegPay offering. This person will spend their day researching potential prospects/merchants, seeking appointments to present the SegPay solution, and working those appointments to closure. The position will work to bring the merchant to contract and then transition the merchant to the SegPay tech support team for integration. This is an incredible opportunity for a candidate that loves interacting with people, has a high energy level, is goal driven, and likes working with people to develop solutions to improve their business. The Position A strong work ethic and willingness to roll up your sleeves is essential to success in this position. You must be dedicated, hard-working, and enjoy selling services. The role requires significant cross-functional collaboration and coordination with several groups within the organization. Your achievements in this position will rely on your enthusiasm and willingness to take the initiative, aptitude at grasping the SegPay system and understanding how the business model can be sold into different markets. Success of the prospective candidate will be predicated upon their own self-motivation, ability to climb the learning curve rapidly, and desire to deliver outstanding service to merchant clients. The Sales Executive will report directly to the President, but will also interact regularly with the product development, risk and compliance, and technical support team. Responsibilities Learn and understand the SegPay suite of services and how merchants would utilize Conduct research to identify new business channels to market and sell SegPay services Create a steadily pipeline of new merchant opportunities and identify decision maker Work to gain appointments, present the SegPay solution, and close Understand the SegPay offering and how it can be presented to potential clients Represent the company at industry events Required Qualifications Bachelor s Degree 1 to 5 years experience in sales; sales experience in markets that need online payments such as health care, beauty, education, software, non-profits a plus Proven track record of sales success Excellent oral and written skills Must be detail oriented, self-disciplined, and exceptionally well organized.
