What does a Sales Account Executive do?

As sales account executives, our job is to find potential clients to our organization and convert them into long-lasting business partners. For this, we utilize traditional selling techniques, such as cold-calling, product demos, etc. depending on our organization’s industry. We are also responsible for maintaining existing customer relationships by liaising with them regularly and trouble-shooting any issues.

Core tasks:

  • identifying potential customers
  • educating customers about products and services on offer through presentations, etc.
  • understanding customer needs and offering custom solutions
  • preparing quotes and contracts
  • promoting marker awareness and visibility
