About Sales Engineering Manager

What does a Sales Engineering Manager do?

We, as sales engineering managers, are accountable for the complete installation, maintenance, and observation of regular sales systems and operations. We have to work and manage with a team of staff on a day-to-day basis. We sell scientific and technological products and services to other businesses and agencies. Our job requires us to be familiar with knowledge of products’ parts and functions. Our duties involve managing and interpreting customer requirements, calculating client quotations, and analyzing cost and sales. We are also responsible for coordinating sales projects and recording and organizing client data.

Core tasks:

  • providing pre-sales technical help.
  • assisting in designing custom-made products.
  • organizing reports for head office.
  • securing and renewing orders and arranging deliveries.
