Job Summary
Gain practical business experience through active participation in the sales and sales operations process. The associate will work directly with the Sales Operations Manager and team to support the administration, analytics and strategic decision making of long-term and daily business. This will be a three phase internship, supporting forecasting and planning, Salesforce CRM platforms, and sales dashboards and analytics.
Job Responsibilities
Support in delivering financial and sales analytics for the organization, which will include all sales channels.
Support key initiatives that will drive sales team productivity in Salesforce.
Gain deep insights into about the building materials industry within a manufacturing environment, supporting the sales field.
Administer product information and specifications within customer portals and websites, gaining an understanding of customer contracts and programs.
Engage in channel strategy, supporting the planning, deployment and monitoring of promotions and product launches.
Support in delivering financial and market share results for the business, which can include recommendations for possible corrective actions.
Support customer and product forecasts and projections for the organization to reach goals and match demand.
Expand and develop the analytics and dashboards portfolio, including sell-through and POS results.
Support tracking of competitive product, selling programs, marketing initiatives. Also analyze industry trends, such as demand drivers, product designs and features, technology and pricing.
Assist the Sales department in developing and executing other key projects, as needed.
Support other areas of Sales Operations at the direction of the Sales Operations Manager and VP of Sales.
Job Requirements
Completing or has completed a Bachelor’s Degree in economics or business administration with emphasis in; marketing, business analytics, information technology or other technical discipline.
Creative individual who demonstrates excellent problem-solving skills.
Effective communicator with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Self-motivated with an energetic and positive attitude to complete assigned tasks.
Effective 2 way communicator with strong communication and listing skills.
Ability to problem solve, think and act quickly, with a sense of urgency.

Relevant work experience in sales, sales administration, sales operations, analytics or other customer centric positions is a plus.
