Your responsibilities

  • Plan and implement sales strategies to maximize market share and margin with Channel partners and key accounts.Negotiate Channel partners and key accounts contracts including, annual volumes, partners program and terms and conditions
  • Educate customer base and potential new customers about differentiating products with technical presentations etc.Generate cross-selling leads and make it easier to do business with ABB Electrification Products Business Unit.
  • Identify and track upcoming sales opportunities and influence customer specifications to favor ABB.Conduct presentations to create awareness of complete ABB IDCP solutions.
  • Introduce new products to existing customer base and identify target customers.Create strategic account plans for accounts.Meet or exceed assigned volume measurements.
  • Develop relationships with US channel partners and influence them to utilize ABB in their project proposals.
  • Develop cost effective and creative proposals based on drawings and specifications; provide value engineering suggestions to differentiate from competition.Understand market pricing and utilize to successfully close opportunities.
  • Provide market feedback, competitive intelligence and hit-rate information to business and sales leadership.Track sales leads, wins and losses in Customer Response Management (CRM) system.
  • Create customer marketing programs New Product Introduction (NPI) launch, training to promote ABB DC products and services.
  • Identify new customers and create customer profiles to understand ABB?s position.Participate in industry and local organizations to build relationships.
  • Your background

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering from an accredited university or college with Minimum of 5 of years sales experience.
  • Experience with complex contracts negotiations.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of DC electrical market un USA.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of ABB products.
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
  • Experience working with Channels End users and EPC?s.
  • Candidates must already have a work authorization that allows them to work for ABB in United States.

    • Listen to and resolve customer complaints regarding services, products, or personnel.
    • Provide staff with assistance in performing difficult or complicated duties.
    • Monitor sales staff performance to ensure that goals are met.
