SDSU was by far the worst place i have ever worked. The faculty spent all their time fighting and backstabbing, the administration made promises they didn't keep, and they seemed more interested in just finding new sources of money for the university than actually teaching and researching.

Pros and Cons
San Diego has nice weather

I worked well with everyone in the English and Comparative Literature Department. After I began working overseas, after I returned each summer I met individually with half-a-dozen former colleagues. I feel my former colleagues have always been supportive and remain good friends.

Pros and Cons
Good working environment (colleagues, physical plant, scholarly resources).
No problems or negatives.
