**Job Description** The SAP Production Planning (PP) Consultant should possess expertise in the area of PP and leverage this knowledge to design and develop client solutions. The candidate will be responsible for assisting clients in documenting requirements, solution definition, implementation, and support of SAP PP component. Candidate should be familiar with various integration points and interface options with SAP as it relates to PP. This individual should demonstrate leadership skills and a track record of managing and mentoring teams as well as managing client relationships.The candidate will have SAP and PP experience within Industrial and Distribution . The candidate should possess knowledge, skills, and abilities in PP business requirements and challenges facing clients in these industries. We care about each other, our clients, and the communities we live, work, and play in! bm.com/ibm/responsibility/initiatives.html \#referGBSSAP **Required Technical and Professional Expertise** + At least 3 years of experience working with the SAP Production Planning module + At least 3 years of experience and knowledge of integration and interface options for SAP PP + At least 3 years of experience in application development/process transformation experience. + At least 3 years of experience in full life cycle, complex SAP PP-PI implementation experience using ASAP Methodology **Preferred Tech and Prof Experience** + At least 5 years of experience working with the SAP Production Planning module + At least 5 years of experience and knowledge of integration and interface options for SAP PP + At least 5 years of experience in application development/process transformation experience. + At least 5 years of experience in full life cycle, complex SAP PP-PI implementation experience using ASAP Methodology + At least 5 years of experience working in a consulting firm with consulting responsibilities with Supply Chain Management/Industrial clients on SAP engagements. + At least 5 full life cycle projects with SAP Material Manufacturing (MM) & PP modules **EO Statement** IBM is committed to creating a diverse environment and is proud to be an equal opportunity employer. TASKS

  • Document findings of study and prepare recommendations for implementation of new systems, procedures, or organizational changes.
  • Interview personnel and conduct on-site observation to ascertain unit functions, work performed, and methods, equipment, and personnel used.
  • Analyze data gathered and develop solutions or alternative methods of proceeding.
  • Plan study of work problems and procedures, such as organizational change, communications, information flow, integrated production methods, inventory control, or cost analysis.

  • ClericalKnowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems such as word processing, managing files and records, stenography and transcription, designing forms, and other office procedures and terminology.
  • Economics and AccountingKnowledge of economic and accounting principles and practices, the financial markets, banking and the analysis and reporting of financial data.
  • Sales and MarketingKnowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products or services. This includes marketing strategy and tactics, product demonstration, sales techniques, and sales control systems.
