About Satellite Technician

What does a Satellite Technician do?

In the role of Satellite Technician, our primary responsibility is to install and maintain satellites. We work collaboratively with a team of satellite technicians to install new satellite products. We analyse the issues in the satellites and troubleshoot them to maintain their efficiency. Working as Satellite Technicians, we incorporate the ideas of other team members to improve the existing satellites. We also install satellite cables as per the instructions of our team managers. We also ensure the implementation of safety rules and regulations while performing our work.

Core tasks:

  • working collaboratively with the team members
  • installing satellite dishes
  • communicating with our customers
  • validating the operations and functions of satellites
  • travelling to customer’s locations
