Enjoyed working for Save A Lot restocking shelves, working with employees and customers unloading trucks. Looking for expiration dates on packages to make sure everything is fresh. It was a wonderful experience.

I started part-time working as a cashier, I enjoyed my job. I worked my way up to working also part-time in the tobacco shop. From there I worked my way into the Division Office when New Division Manager came. I absolutely LOVED my job. I worked for the company for & years. Only downside was I got a new Division Manager when my boss retired. He was from New York, very closed minded, was ONLY a numbers guy and cared nothing about seeing or visiting the stores, He ran all the prices up in our low-income areas and eventually he moved me back into a store as a overpaid cashier. He ran all of the stores I loved into the ground. I eventually quit because I no longer loved my job, and no-one cared but the vendors that missed me and my expertise. I would still be there today if he had not come and ruined my division!

Pros and Cons
Employee Owned
Corporate Office does not care about you
