Schneider Electric Company Reviews and Ratings
Welder manufacturing
Lexington, KY - January 11, 2025
I applied for a position as a combination welder due to my extensive welding experience. However, I discovered that the role primarily involved machine welding, which could be performed with minimal welding skills. Despite this, the compensation and benefits were among the best I have encountered in the manufacturing sector, and the job was unionized. I genuinely enjoyed the work, even though my welding opportunities were limited. Unfortunately, I had to leave due to health concerns; the repetitive motions were affecting my hands, and my doctors advised me to seek a different career. Had there been a nearby facility that focused more on welding rather than machine operation, I would have likely stayed.
Pros and Cons
Benefits pay great place to work and I would recommend it to anyone.
None in my experience.

Real laid back environment. They actually have radios at their positions. I've had worst jobs that I've paid $10 an hour less.

Regional Service Sales/Enterprise Account Manager
Atlanta, GA - August 6, 2022
As Service Sales Manager, I loved it! But like they say... I Loved the Reps and most clients I dealt with. My sales growth was always in line with my goals. I was loving my career and the company I worked for. It was well balanced in my personal life. In 2018 several Strategic Account Managers were laid off and the responsibility of those clients were split between (5) Service Sales Managers (myself being one). This was a whole job in itself. Those clients alone consumed at least 75% of my time and those of us left to carry the ball, became way overworked and stressed, and our growth goals were unreasonable. Director Level (my boss) was given a directive by the Senior VP to grow the Strategic Account business and it was by Margin, not revenue. We were familiar with our customers, and knew that they would take our contracts and Services out to bid with competitors if we gouged them on pricing, and they did just that. Sales suffered, and I decided to resign and start my own business.
Pros and Cons
great 4091k match and benefits packages and pricing
Upper Management was bad

Good learning options. Company is taking good care of the employee but the senior management people not allowing to get the same implemented successfully. Ultimately, the employee sufers and no one has control over such elements.
Pros and Cons
Good learnings, good benefits.
Senior management working out of control finally resulting in torturing of the individuals.

I worked at Schneider Electric for 25 years. Pay is good, good benefits. When I started there there were 16 union plant in the United States. Currently there are 5. They are systematically moving jobs from the union plants and moving them to their plants in third world countries. I’m not bitter, if your looking for a short term job in the USA with good pay and benefits this is the place for you but, if your looking for that forever job to retire from I would advise you to look for something else
Pros and Cons
Good pay, good benefits, matching 401K
In the US you’re just a number and know if you’re in a union shop your days are numbered

the department I worked in was absolutely horrible. the job itself was great but the employees were down right horrible! they have their own little groups and throw you under the bus for anything that may go wrong..even if you weren't there. the hours are exhausting and there is NO structure in management.
Pros and Cons
you get paid once a week
short breaks, overworked, rude managment
