About School Based Therapist

What does a School Based Therapist do?

As School Based Therapists, we provide treatment and advice to children with special education needs. We look at the child’s environment, assess how that environment can affect the child then recommend and administer treatment. We assist in the collection of behavioral and mental health information of children and other workers so that they can get specialized treatment based on the information they provided. We also provide consultation programs to school workers to help them deal with mental health.
