Job Description

White Plains, New York Skills : SAP Description : Position: APO SCM Consultant (DP/SNP/PPDS) Location: White Plains, NY Responsibilities for the position include: • Production Support: New hire will manage daily support and enhancements for the existing applications in the organization and will be focused, but not restricted, to the Planning(APO) and Materials management(SAP MM) . The daily support will be completed following standard KPIs: tickets tracking completion and budget pre-paid consumption when an external team or vendors are solicited. This on-going support activity is also covering the documentation update to ensure support sustainability of our applications. • Projects: As an associate manager, new hire will also lead projects and rollout new solutions with support from a senior manager, in respect to planning and budget constraints and the Danone global governance. New hire will ensure cost-effective systems and add value to the business processes requirements by designing and developing the solutions. Those projects will have to be executed following a standard methodology to ensure they are delivered in line with time, budget and appropriate resources allocations. New hire would have to make sure all documentation of the project is ready and organized before the project closing. • Other responsibilities include, Assessment of business and application requirements • Driving the development of functional and system specifications • Business requirements gathering/Conducting fit/gap analysis and business process modeling • Configuring the software to business requirements • Developing and executing tests to confirm the functionality • Maintaining necessary documentation BRD(Business Requirements Document), system Flow diagrams, Test Scenarios. SOP's, Functional Specs e.t.c • Communicating in a team environment with clients and colleagues Educational Qualification: • Minimum educational requirement of a four year degree in Information Technology or related field. A Master's degree in related field is desirable. Technical competencies: • Min 10 years in the Information technology area with minimum 8 years direct SAP experience designing and implementing SAP SCM/APO (DP/SNP/PPDS) along with good SAP MM Knowledge (Materials Management) • Full Lifecycle SAP Implementations in SAP SCM/APO involving requirement analysis and gathering, designing business blue print, configuration and in-depth realization of the project to Go-Live and Post Go-Live activities including Production maintenance and Supportexperience • Hands on experience in Core Interface (CIF) Configuration, error management, trouble shooting • Sound knowledge and expertise in Core-Interface of Master and Transactional Data between ECC and APO, consistency checks and CIF issues with resolutions • Knowledge on GATP is a PLUS • Knowledge on EDI integration with external partners • knowledge working with Idocs and troubleshooting IDOC integration issues • Solution Design / Implementation / Post Implementation Support • Knowledge/Familiarity with EDI specification documents • "AS IS" and "TO BE" flows documentation • Create / Perform Test Plans / Executing Testing / Result Tracking • Create Technical / Functional Documentation for Development • Strong SAP configuration skills in APO(DP/SNP/PPDS) • MM configuration skills would be a plus • MRP • Experience in Material Management, Logistics and Intercompany movements is a plus. • Application Testing / Training / Documentation • Create / Perform Test Plans / Executing Testing / Result Tracking • Perform UAT - User Acceptance Testing / Functional Support • Produce Training Materials / Documents • Prepare Detailed Specs on Reports / Interface / Conversions / Enhancements / Forms, etc. Management competencies: • Exceptional interpersonal skills; written and oral communication; public speaking/group facilitation and organizational skills. • Make Decisions: Assess situations to determine the importance, urgency and risks, and make clear decisions which are timely and in the best interests of the organization • Excellent project management and time-management skills and the ability to deliver quality results with an aggressive timeline • Establishing Focus: be able to develop and communicate goals in support of the business' mission. • Managing Change: be able to demonstrate support for innovation and for organizational changes needed to improve the organization's effectiveness; initiating, sponsoring, and implementing organizational change; helping others to successfully manage organizational change. • Managing Performance: be able to take responsibility for one's own or one's employees' performance, by setting clear goals and expectations, tracking progress against the goals, ensuring feedback, and addressing performance problems and issues promptly. • Building Collaborative Relationships: be able to develop, maintain, and strengthen partnerships with others inside or outside the organization who can provide information, assistance, and support. • Results Orientation: be able to focus on the desired result of one's own or one's unit's work, setting challenging PREFERRED (but not required) • SAP APO Certification • SAP MM Certification • Project Management Certifications - provided by Dice
