What does a Secretary do?

As Secretaries, we are responsible for handling correspondence, answering phones, and maintaining diaries. We arrange appointments and prepare and collate reports. Providing information management support and organizing work by reading and routing correspondence is one of our daily responsibilities. We manage department schedules by maintaining calendars and arranging meetings. Working as Secretaries, we maintain customer confidence and protect operations by keeping information confidential. We prepare reports by collecting relevant information and maintain office supplies.
