No support for employees. Can’t get anyone from management on the phone. Try calling them now…90% chance you get voicemail. Get used to that, it’s all you’ll ever get. Stay away for your own good. Terrible company.

I worked with/for this company while I was enrolled in college. Great atmosphere, if you like being alone a lot. I did get to do a R&B concert, Rap concert, and a Sorority and Fraternity Step Off which I was pretty cool.

One day during Christmas Eve A.P. and I had to snatch two television's from someone he put up a little fight but we retrieved the merchandise.

Poor supervisory personnel. Promotes from without. Only thing that was a plus with the company was an anual Christmas bonus.

There was never anything that happened at the electrical plant I use to secure however the client who entered facility were friendly and my co workers definitely taught me some things when I first started..

I applied for securitas back in 2019-2020 of September and I worked there for about 1 year and a half. The pay was alright not the best for this type of job. Because I had to deal with people that did not respect security officers at all. And the payroll people would not pay me in my full hours that I’ve worked. So that was 1 of the reasons why I quit securitas. The other reason why I quit securitas is because the supervisor would not do his job and get a replacement for anyone so sometimes I would have to stay there for 12 to 15 hours a day and my normal scheduled time was 8 hours a day and 40 hours a week. Sometimes my paychecks would have only 50 hours which that one week I had 80 hours of work. So they shorted me 30 hours and after seeing that I just quit.

Recruited, screened, interviewed, hired employees and employment agency usage; Job fairs, Inter soliciting. Administered employee orientation.

After Covid we were sent home to work and the situation was great and appreciated now I have no problems hiring people to work from home out of state and allowing them to continue this luxury but those that have been loyal for years are being forced to go back into the office full-time despite the changes that were made in home life and two homes to accommodate this luxury. Why is my time and abilities to work from home any different than another financial analyst that was hired after the fact.

Securitas has a hiring and promotion process that's politically biased. Management is a cult that bases praises, hiring, and promotions off of who they like and know, rather than those that are well deserved.

Unprofessional and unpleasant place to work. I recommend you find another job. Not worth the time and energy

I worked at securitas Security service for 5 years and I do miss there sometimes and I have plenty of experience working as security guard at securitas Security service.

Very difficult to integrate into a new position as the training you receive is very short and left mostly to your own dedication. It wasn't difficult information to understand, but none of the other employees care to learn it or help you learn it.

The management is very helpful and they actually listen to the workers. The only reason I left is because I was able to get a desk job at a place in Seattle.

I went to Securitas for a change in work industry. The partial seclusion allowed time for reflection.

Very interesting life experience, definitely learned a lot about myself and others. I definitely grown in the progress.
