About Security Guard

What does a Security Guard do?

As Security Guards, we are responsible for the physical security of any facility. We check entrances, exits, lock gates, and offices as required. Monitoring daily activities and irregularities are a part of our job. We track and oversee equipment or property damage, theft, or unusual occurrences. We receive and reconcile all receipts for raw materials. We conduct plant tours to inspect valve houses, fire extinguishers, and plant perimeter. It is our responsibility to log all activities in the command logbook. We keep a record of any visitors and contractors entering the facility. We escort visitors and employees as needed on site. Responding to calls for service and emergency situations is our duty.

  • report and complete incident reports
  • monitor customer traffic
  • observe for potential theft and fraud
  • perform merchandise ink tag audits
  • responsible for the Security of the clients
  • implement emergency response activities as appropriate
