Covering the Western region of the US, the Radiant and Security Ceilings Solutions Manager will interact with architects, distributors, contractors, owners, and facility managers to influence the specification and purchase of Armstrong radiant and security ceilings solutions and is expected to meet or exceed sales budget with regard to price, volume, and mix. Additionally, the Radiant and Security Ceilings Solutions Manager will interact and partner with other Armstrong sales representatives to drive improved business results.*_Note_**:* Preferred locations will be near a major airport in the Western US to include, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Denver, Seattle, Portland or Phoenix.Up to 50% travel may will be required.*Day-To-Day Responsibilities:** Identify key projects early in design (pre-planning/schematics stages)* Own and drive projects from concept to order closure and final installation* Collaborate with mechanical engineers and contractors, architects, design-build contractors, construction managers, developers, and owners* Create unique and differentiated specifications for radiant heating and cooling solutions and security ceilings opportunities* Manage and support mechanical independent agent network who sells to contractors* Integrate with area sales managers and local AWI sales teams in their designated areas to capture comprehensive line of solutions* Drive growth strategy by selling more into every space and selling into more spaces*Required Education and Qualifications:** Bachelor's degree in a business discipline (preferred) or the equivalent education and experience is required* 5+ years of commercial building product sales experience* Knowledge of and experience with architectural and mechanical design processes, commercial construction, contracting, and distribution* Team-oriented mentality* Proficiency in MS Office products (PowerPoint, Excel), Adobe Acrobat, and Salesforce.com* Ability to read bid documents and mechanical and architectural drawings*Preferred:** Mechanical engineering background* Experience with selling interior specialty product finishes*Why Armstrong World Industries?*Armstrong World Industries, Inc.
