About Security Operations Engineer

What does a Security Operations Engineer do?

As Security Operations Engineers, we monitor customer security infrastructure, identify and report real-time attacks and vulnerabilities on the customer network. We design and implement public cloud security architecture. We also create and enforce network-based and host-based security tools. We participate in interconnecting the security tool with sources of security incidents.

Core tasks:

  • designing, building, testing, and deploying security architectures
  • participating in project teams providing consultation on information security designs
  • performing security incident analysis and recommending remediation steps
  • taking part in developing automation of incident prioritization and identification of false positives
