Job Description

SeniorCommercial Relationship Manager

Job Functions:

  • Responsible for generating new business while managingexisting commercial clients in appropriate market segment.

  • Maintain and build account profitability with assignedcorporate clients, primarily by providing core Bank products and services.

  • Develop and execute market strategies for development,growth, and retention. Utilize calls,visits and meeting follow-up to maintain, enhance and expand clientrelationships.

  • Actively cross-sell Bank products.

  • Make financing proposals. Negotiate terms and conditions for loans,leases, etc.

  • Interact with Loan Review.

  • Exercise strong credit and pricing skills. Make both credit and pricing recommendationsfor above assigned authority and decisions for credits within assignedauthority.

  • Analyze large business financial statements.

  • Sponsor loan requests through the appropriate creditapproval process.

  • Respond promptly to client issues, questions andconcerns.

  • Manage administrative tasks, including credit analysisand processing.

  • Stay actively involved in the community and areafunctions.

  • Responsible for management of portfolios forlarge-sized businesses and complex accounts.May mentor junior-level Commercial Loan Officers and Service & SalesAssociates.

  • May have dedicated Underwriter in partnership.

  • May include other tasks and responsibilities as needed.

KeyQualifications:

  • Exceptional corporate client interaction skills.

  • Proven skills in business development, networking,planning, consultative sales, marketing, presentation delivery, closing sales,& building long-term clients.

  • Skilled in organizing, facilitating, leading, andnegotiating with a team of Bank personnel to resolve client issues.

  • Demonstrates mastery of the spectrum of Bank productsincluding credit, international, cash management, leasing, and consumerproducts.

  • Skilled in organizing and leading sales initiatives,including generating complex, customized proposals.

  • Professional sales skills and experience, includingplanning, execution, and follow-up.

  • Strong problem-solving, verbal and written communicationskills.

    Position Requirements:

  • Bachelor s Degree or Equivalent Education & workexperience.

  • 10+ years Commercial banking experience, includingunderwriting.

  • May require up to 70% travel to client business sites.
