The eBay Design team is seeking a talented, hardworking, Design Technologist to join our team define and drive innovation for UX Design and Design Tech in its Bellevue offices. The eBay design team is responsible for all eBay Marketplace user experiences across the web, iOS, Android and more.

The eBay design team has creative teams in Seattle, San Francisco, Portland, New York City and San Jose. In this position, you’ll have a significant impact on the customer experience as you take a lead role in Design at eBay. You will be an advocate for and manager of a globally minded set of Design Technologists and work collaboratively with Product Management, Business, and Engineering partners to ensure our platform consistently meets an ever-higher bar of quality, innovation, and performance.
We are looking for a Design Technologist who can create, and lead teams that create, prototypes that allow us to share and build our UX vision. This Design Technologist would bring UX design and engineering expertise together to build prototypes of potential user experiences as well as help us test their effectiveness. They will be responsible for creating prototypes at a variety of fidelities, including working samples and reference code throughout the design process. They will be proficient in a mix of development and prototyping platforms and tools and be responsible for selecting the most appropriate platform for the task. The front-end UX they and their team build will also inspire leaders to invest in new ideas, and would guide developers in building the experience.
