Glassdoor is looking for a Sr. Finance & Strategy Analyst with FP&A or corporate finance experience! This position will function as a key member of the finance team and will interact with various areas of the business, including senior leaders to provide decision support through ad hoc analysis.

Our ideal candidate has excellent analytical skills, extensive modeling experience, and the ability to become a resident specialist in all financial aspects of our business. This person should be a hardworking, hands-on individual who thrives in a quick-paced environment.

What You'll Do:
  • Participate in the monthly P&L review process to ensure timely and accurate reporting and variance analysis.
  • Prepare and review monthly reporting packages and provide detailed financial insights.
  • Provide ongoing support to leaders across various departments to develop rolling forecasts and annual budgets (headcount, operating expenses, and capital planning).
  • Develop ad-hoc reports and analysis for cross-functional departments and management as requested.
  • Lead a large portion of Glassdoor's operating forecast, from AWS hosting to supporting the R&D product roadmap to hiring velocity.
  • Partner with BizOps and Product/Marketing teams to identify investment opportunities and develop frameworks for effective investment decisions
  • Implement and execute a dynamic investment portfolio and identify focus areas to support continued growth. Collaborate with FP&A teams on scenario modeling to estimate future capital access and work cross-functionally on how to deploy capital most optimally to drive future growth and mapping against critical initiatives.
  • Implement an ROI framework that allows us to benchmark investment in different areas of the organization (i.e. investments into new products vs core products, B2B vs consumer) and allows retrospective analytics.
  • Support translating the impact of new product initiatives into a financial framework (i.e. sizing of pricing and revenue opportunities for new products).

  • 3 to 5 years of relevant finance experience.
  • Exceptional analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient with MS Excel and PowerPoint.
  • High level of ownership of assigned tasks and initiative to achieve outstanding results.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a record of collaborating with management levels.
  • Experience in online media and advertising and Adaptive Insights is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits

Base Salary Range*: $97,000 - 145,400

*Glassdoor base salaries are targeted to the market 75th percentile for technical roles and the 65th percentile for non-technical roles. In other words, 65-75% of comparable organizations in our industry will pay less.

Annual Bonus Target**: 10%

** Bonuses are paid in 6-month intervals, aligning with bi-annual performance reviews
