Role Summary:Provides management operations team regarding the North American Life & Health’s insurance portfolio. In doing so, the Operations Leader will have significant interaction with external client company management and other NA Life & Health functions such as: Claims, Legal, IT, Finance and Actuarial.Essential Responsibilities:Provide leadership and direction to the insurance U.S. Life operations team to meet the NALH and the individual business objectives Lead all day to day operation activities and staff. Coordinate and run all client, partner and/or broker contact related to the businessIdentify, investigate and reconcile all operational business issues Drive simplification and improvement in execution initiatives throughout the business Coordinate and lead efforts related to ceded insurance relationships Coordinate third party administrator (TPA) relationships associated with the business Develop, monitor and drive adherence to all TPA service levels and metricsBuild relationships with clients to assure administration is aligned with treaty parameters Review and assist in preparation of any necessary client, internal (ie: Op reviews, GPB, S2, BP, Op Plan) and financial (ie: statement schedules) reporting Optimally get along with associated business functions and their leadership to develop working relationships to address business issues and determine solutions Plan, coordinate and complete client administration audits Liaise with internal and external auditors as the need arises Maintain the integrity of policy data on the administration systemQualifications/Requirements:Bachelor’s Degree PreferredMinimum 10 year insurance industry experience, preferably with 5 years of leadership experience Desired Characteristics:Strong communication skills Solutions focused and flexible; able to drive change and lead others to excel in a dynamic environment. Ability to apply a variety of strategic frameworks to analyze problems and to guide and develop solutions.
