Blackbaud is looking for an experienced SeniorInternalCommunications Managertodevelop a companywideinternal communication strategy which enhances the company s culture, mission and values while aligning and engaging employees.

Job responsibilities:

  • Oversight of global internal communications campaigns, projects,anddeliverables including strategy, message development,andimplementation.

  • Establish an internal communications strategy in conjunction withkey stakeholders that align with company goals.

  • Plan,research,write,and edit content for a variety of internal communications vehicles including but not limited to email, newsletters, all-hands meetings, anddigital signage.

  • Ensure organizational initiatives and projects are successfully communicated to employees and stakeholders.

  • Draft messages or scripts from senior leaders for internal presentations to employees in written or spoken form.

  • Ensure internal communications messages are consistent across all mediums.

  • Ensure internal communications messages are consistent and aligned with external communications.

  • Respond to feedback from staff and adjust communications content accordingly.

  • Create a seamless flow of information from top-down and bottom-up that results in team members receiving important information from leadership and leadership understanding needs of team members.

  • Build and leverage employee feedback channels, monitorin real time, and analyze data from regular surveys. Propose and apply best practices to extend reach and engagement and improve delivery methods and frequency.

  • Act as a trusted resource and develop strong relationships with colleagues at all levels. Build consensus across cross-functional teams and influence decision making with senior-level audiences to achieve business objectives.

  • Lead content creation for quarterly, corporate all-hands meetings.

  • Manage and deliver other projects and duties as assigned.

  • Detail-oriented, outstanding verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate complex issues and formulate recommendations to a wide variety of audiences are essential.

  • Excels at planning, organizing and executing effectively, while running multiple work streams with different cadences and stakeholders and being attentive to deadlines. Youwill be the hub of communications information.

  • Exceptional cross-group collaboration skills to successfully and independently work across many teams and functions.

  • Creative, nimble, andunflappable. You find ways to get things done - using your influencing skills across a highly matrixed organization.

  • Must possess excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills as well as the journalistic ability to source stories from employees.

  • Strong Microsoft Word,PowerPoint, andExcelskills, as well as some ability to manipulate graphics for flyers,digital signage,etc.Working knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite is preferredbut not required.

  • Sense of urgency about deadlines; ability to meet daily, weekly and monthly deadlines.

  • Be comfortable with public speakingas you are likely to be called on to give presentations to staff.

  • Possess the confidence towork closelywith senior executives.

Qualifications:

  • 7-10years ofexperiencein marketing, journalism, public relations,orrelated field.

  • Bachelor s degree in Marketing, Corporate Communications, PR, Journalism, English or equivalent.

  • Identify main client groups and audiences, determine the best way to communicate publicity information to them, and develop and implement a communication plan.
  • Develop and maintain the company's corporate image and identity, which includes the use of logos and signage.
  • Manage special events, such as sponsorship of races, parties introducing new products, or other activities the firm supports, to gain public attention through the media without advertising directly.
  • Write interesting and effective press releases, prepare information for media kits, and develop and maintain company internet or intranet web pages.

  • ClericalKnowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems such as word processing, managing files and records, stenography and transcription, designing forms, and other office procedures and terminology.
  • Economics and AccountingKnowledge of economic and accounting principles and practices, the financial markets, banking and the analysis and reporting of financial data.
  • Sales and MarketingKnowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products or services. This includes marketing strategy and tactics, product demonstration, sales techniques, and sales control systems.
