SUMMARY Manages the activities of product lines / projects / programs involving department or cross-functional teams. Focuses on delivery within prescribed time fame and funding parameters. Monitors the product line / program / project from initiation through delivery. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES * Coordinate the integration of product knowledge between the OEM and Aftermarket Services * Design strategic process for the successful integration of new product lines into Aftermarket Services * Work with various functional groups to develop solutions for product or customer support issues * Understand and communicate product specific regulatory and contractual requirements to the internal functions * Be subject matter expert on all aspects of the product line support including technical and commercial issues, ensuring satisfactory resolution where required * Oversee the stocking and inventory process for designated product lines * Ensure that all quality and safety standards are adhered to by those handling inventory * Develop a process for date management of shelf life limited components * Oversee the on time shipments of goods and manage the open order book for assigned product lines * Ensure proper shipping authorizations are received to deliver the products worldwide * Work with internal teams to develop the most effective stocking methodologies in order to fulfil customer requirements while optimizing inventory levels * Use customer information like installed base, HMV schedules, replacement criteria, and on hand inventory to drive process and delivery improvement through the business * Create, monitor, and own all metrics around operational and financial performance of the product line * Confers with project personnel to provide technical advice and to resolve problems * Oversee and manage the work of a team focused on leading the product line integrations * Responsible for planning and maintaining work systems, procedures, and policies that enable and encourage the optimum performance of its people and other resources within a business unit * Performs other related duties as required MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS * Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university; minimum eight years related experience and/or training; or any other equivalent combination of education and experience * Experience working in the aviation industry * Program and/or Product management experience * Ability to effectively present information to top management PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS * Experience working with HAZMAT EOE/Minorities/Females/Veterans/Disabled.
